Synergy Computers (Pvt.) Limited (SCL) was incorporated as Saigol Computers (Pvt.) Limited in September 1981, and started operations in January 1982. Prior to its incorporation, the company’s progenitor, CASHE (Computer Applied Software and Hardware Enterprise), had already opened up the relatively young Pakistani market in the late ‘70s to the application of computers in finance, distribution, banking and data base development. SCL became Synergy Computers in the year 2000.The company offers a wide array of products and services to the IT market in Pakistan, including in-house developed software solutions, third party software solutions, retail hardware products, high end hardware solutions, networking solutions, support and maintenance, ISP commissioning and IT consultancy. These product and service categories are pooled under various divisions as follows:

The Software Solutions Division, comprising of systems analysts, consultants, software specialists and programmers, develops customized software solutions for various clients, parametrizes existing packages to fit the specific requirements of particular customers, provides software support and maintenance services, and delivers training to client organizations on the solutions that they are implementing. This team has extensive experience in development on various platforms, using most of the popular tools available in the industry. While this division has developed numerous customized solutions for a varied client base, SCL’s two flagship in-house products are the UBANK Plus Banking Package and the HoTech Plus Hotel Management Solution.

The Technical Support and Maintenance Division provides a broad range of services to clients, including IT consultancy and planning, networking and maintenance support. This division has been a mainstay of the company from the beginning, and has contributed largely to SCL’s reputation in the Pakistani market as a company that provides quality support to its clientele.

The Hardware Solutions and Consumer Electronics Divisions offer SCL’s clients a wide array of products and systems to choose from, meeting most IT related hardware needs of any customer.

The integrated team of web consultants, creative designers, programmers and marketing professionals that is highly competent at producing websites that are attractive, professional, search-engine friendly and result-oriented. Through this team, we offer cost effective Web Design and Development services to our corporate customers.

Since its inception, SCL has had the privilege of being a partner, and representative in Pakistan, of several of the leading names in the global IT industry. Current partners include Sun Microsystems, Fujitsu, SAS, Symantec, Acer, Infor, VTLS, Global 360, eBaotech, Sungard, Theta and Path Solutions.

SCL at present has approximately 160 people on its payroll, and branches in Karachi, Islamabad, Lahore, Peshawar, Multan and Faisalabad. Based upon relationships built over the past two decades, the company currently boasts of a large and varied client base, comprising mainly of Financial Institutions, Multinational Corporations, Aid Agencies, Embassies, Educational Institutions, Hotels, and Industries.
